Plum Wine (Umeshu)

A delicious alcohol drink starring the Ume fruit.
- 850 g Ume, unripe
- 715 g Rock Sugar
- 1.6 L Alcohol
- Add ume and rock sugar to the bottle. Layer them on top of each other with a layer of ume, then a layer of sugar, and keep going until there is no more fruit to add.
- Fill bottle with alcohol (about 35% ABV; vodka, rum, or brandy are commonly used). Try not to let any fruit be exposed to the air in the bottle.
